Trading practices to avoid
The principles behind Orion's trading rules, and where to find the full detail.
The idea behind the rules
Orion's rules are designed to reflect what legitimate trading actually looks like: strategies that demonstrate real skill and could be replicated on a live account. The goal is to make sure the evaluation measures what it's supposed to measure.
Three areas the rules cover
Platform integrity
Practices that exploit the simulated environment: price errors, data feed advantages, latency gaps
Genuine risk management
Strategies need to reflect how a reasonable trader manages risk on a real account, not patterns designed to game metrics
Personal use
Your account is for your use only: no third-party access, no device sharing, no coordinated trading across accounts
What is allowed
Any strategy not listed in the Forbidden Trading Practices
